Entry Requirement

For Local Students:

SPM

A pass with at least credit in any 3 subjects, inclusive of Mathematics or any equivalent qualification; OR

STPM

A pass with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject or any equivalent qualification anda credit in Mathematics at the SPM level or its equivalent; OR

STAM

A pass with a minimum grade of Maqbul (pass) and a credit in Mathematics at the SPM level or its equivalent; OR

SKM

A pass in Level 3 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR

OTHERS

A pass in any qualifications equivalent to Certificate (Level 3, MQF) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.
Admission through Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL).

Note:

Candidates without a credit in mathematics at the SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the certificate programme contains mathematics subjects equivalent to mathematics at the SPM level. Candidates with a credit in computing-related subjects at SPM or STPM level or its equivalent may be given preferential consideration.

For International Students:

• A minimum score of Band 4.0 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)*; OR
A minimum score of 30-31 for an Internet-Based Total (iBFT) for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)*; OR
A minimum score of 5 for TOEFL Essentials (online); OR
A minimum score of 36 in the Pearson Test of English (PTE); OR
A minimum score of B1 (140) in Cambridge English Qualifications and Tests; OR
Band 3 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET); OR
Successful attainment of B1 (140) in CEFR-aligned exams by Cambridge English Qualification conducted by the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE).
